Owner's INSTRUCTIONS

WELCOME to the Heps RENT & DIVE SPOTS System, a simple way to offer visitors and guests a chance to experience a dive using the best scuba gear made by RL divers. What a great way for people to try before they buy. RENT & DIVE SPOTS are kept updated by the creator for no additional charge.

 

There are two available modes:

>>>> Rent & Dive - People pay a few Linden$ per minute to use the scuba gear.

>>>> Free Dive – Owner pays to have an available R&D unit to provide an unlimited number of free scuba gears for 10, 20, 30 or 60 minute dives on the SIM.

1) Free Mode

REZ the object to start. At this point, the unit is closed:

 

 

 

 

 

GRANT Permission to take your money, as you will pay the unit to open FREE Scuba gear Giver functions.

 

 

 

Choose your running mode : Rent or Free

 

 

 

We are in the free mode manual section, so let’s follow the steps to set up the free mode.

 

Choose the amount of time your customers can use the scuba gear (11 minutes, 21 minutes, 31 or 61 minutes). The price is based on the amount of time you choose. See the free unit prices section for the price list. In this example, we have chosen 11 minutes.

 

 

 

 

After clicking "11", choose the price you want to pay (for example, 950 L$ for 30 days of free Scuba Gear distribution).

 

 

 

Now, you can accept to pay the Unit by clicking "Go to Pay".

 

 

 

You should see the text appear on the Unit, “Please right click and pay”. Just right click on the Unit and choose "Pay".

 

 

 

 

Now just accept the payment by clicking on the price.

 

 

Your transaction history will show the payment transactions for you and LouRavi Karas, the builder of the system. In some cases, you will see a split payment to LouRavi Karas and one of his partners. This does not affect the amount you pay.

The unit is now activated to provide free (see top logo on unit) unlimited scuba gear to your customers for a period of 30 days.

2) Rent & Dive Mode is a temporary scuba gear rental system. At the end of rental time, the scuba gear cannot be worn until another payment is made to the terminal.

REZ the object to start, and GRANT Permission to take your money when prompted. This will enable the system to give a 50 – 50 split on sales and to refund people if they pay the wrong amount. You will earn a 50% commission on the price paid by someone to rent a scuba gear.

You can set the price per minute and the minimum and maximum time allowed for the rental.

First, choose the price people will have to pay per minute:

The unit is now in rental mode (see logo on top). The chat log will show that you and the builder will be sharing any payments based on a 50 – 50 split.

 

 

 

3) Your Publicity

When you run a Rent & Dive or Free Unit, you will be listed on the sl-scubadiving.info web page. You can include a Note Card in your Unit to give your customers when they click on the Unit or when they receive their Scuba Gear. Provide landmarks to your scuba diving shop or any other place you want to promote. Please note that our Staff will KILL and delete your Unit by a remote command if you promote something illegal. 

 

 

4) Statistics

The next version will be able to send you daily or weekly usage statistics for your Units.

 

 

5) Common information

 

Your Units are no copy, so you can take them back to inventory and REZ them in another SIM without losing your time credit in Free Mode. When you re-rez them, just choose "Free" mode and the amount of time. If you have forgotten the amount of time previously set, just choose any amount and let the server check to validate the time value. For example, you would get this message:

 

 

 

If you choose "Do Nothing", your unit will return to its last state giving free scuba gears to your customers.

 

You can choose to increase your time credit or to CLEAR the unit from our database. BE AWARE that if you clear the unit (or run the unit in RENTAL mode), you will lose your TIME credit with no refund allowed in this case.

 

 

If you wait too long before clicking the menu button, you can get a Server TIMEOUT showing that you have lost communication with our servers. If this happens, you will need to start the process again from the beginning.

 

If you choose "Do Nothing", your unit will return to its last state giving free scuba gears to your customers.

 

 

6) Prices (only if you have set the "FREE MODE")

 

You can choose to give scuba gear working 10,20 or 30 minutes for your customers. Here is the price list, according to the running time for the scuba gear, and the numbers of days you want to pay the service. There is no quantity limitation.

7) Users Instructions

You can REZ the Info column from your kit near your Rent & Dive Unit to provide the basic information in any of these languages: English, Portuguese / Brazilian, German and French.
